Description

On the great Canadian Taiga, there are endless miles of Black Spruce and Lichen woodland. This sub-arctic forest type can be ready to ignite after only a week of dry, windy weather- and it does so on a regular basis. Without fast attack aircraft the fires would be impossible to control. Tanker One is a Douglas A-26 Invader owned and operated by Airspray Ltd. In 1943, it rolled out of the Tulsa factory as an A-26C model, later changed to a “B” nose version. With its polished props blazing in the sun, it pops out of the head of a fire, after dropping the last load of a flanking action – now it’s time to fight the crowning head fire.
